When: 31 May 2018
What: “We entered a barn and liberated more than a dozen hens and turkeys who were being kept for their eggs and flesh.
Living conditions were horrific, the ground was covered in years of built up faeces, no food or water visable, no sunlight, no ventilation. Many were suffering from scaly legs, respiratory infections, missing feathers or eyes and a few were severely underweight.
They are all now in safe homes where they will be loved and cared for and treated for their injuries/ illnesses.”
